It is with great pleasure that Cyffwrdd Gorllewin Gwyllt / Wild West Touch unveil it’s brand new logo.
The logo was created by designer, Ben Davies of Ben Davies Design. Ben is available for all kinds of design work, particularly specialising in t-shirt and poster design.
The brief was to create a striking, modern logo that clearly highlighted a regional identity, i.e. west Wales and also the sport of Touch.
The character is of a Red Kite, an amazing bird of prey that can often be seen hovering over the fields in west Wales looking for it’s next feed! Or in the logos case – a Touch ball!
Gorllewin Gwyllt is the Welsh phrase for Wild West. Many of Wales’ Welsh speakers are native to Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion and the language is widely spoken in Llandysul where WWT12 will take place.
